Welcome! HTML-Haven Discussion Group has been in existence since November 28, 1998, and enjoys an active membership of approximately 1600 members to date. Our membership consists of web developers from every walk of life, every skill level, and living and working all over the globe.The group is dedicated to accommodating the novice web developer, as well as the seasoned professional. All questions are welcome no matter how silly or trivial they may seem. The only silly question is the one that is never asked; after all, we have all been there before and have gone through what the new or novice designer is experiencing today.
HTML-Haven Discussion Group is a professional web development help community. We have worked very hard to make everyone feel welcome and try to create a friendly atmosphere where one can ask whatever questions they are faced with at any given time — providing they are related to web design/development, the Internet, Email, web research, search engines — on- or off-site, or anything else that is somehow related. HTML Haven Discussion Group was created to provide a Haven for all to come when they are in need of HTML or related help. We welcome the experienced web designer as well, who would like to either ask their own questions or would like to give back some of knowledge they have acquired in order to help those that are new to the field or just starting out.
With all of my computer and software literacy there is one thing that still drives me completely up-a-wall — needless to say that that is fumbling around trying to get something to work that just will not; something that I have no clue how to fix. That is why I created HTML Haven. There are so many people nowadays that are entering the Internet and webpage arena. Their desire is so great to construct something to be proud of but they have no clue where to start. My feeling is, that with just a little push in the right direction, these people can become proficient without having to be stressed unnecessarily while learning.
Our goal has always been to provide a friendly atmosphere where people can have fun while learning and sharing. I have found that more can be accomplished in a friendly atmosphere. While we will have rules, I will try and make them rules that people will not feel stifled with.
Since I already have a large HTML Resource Site I will be using that site for the group as well. If you have other sites that would be an appropriate addition please Email me and I would be happy to add them to the existing gallery of resources. If you feel that a category is missing then I would be happy to include that as well.
HTML-Haven Discussion Group, has been online since November 1998, and have established a friendly atmosphere where the only qualification for joining is a healthy interest in web and graphic design. If it's related to webdesign/web development it is discussed at HTML-Haven. Won't you join us?
